Parkview Terrace

Southern Comfort Mechanical Inc. (SCMI) designed the integrated system for the 45-unit luxury rental residence located in old St. Vital in Winnipeg. This project will have some interesting features, including heated underground parking and an electric fireplace-heated grand lobby with 20-foot ceilings. Starting in mid-2020, our build will include a Lennox VRF® Heat Recovery Unit. This air source Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology moves heat from spaces requiring cooling into spaces requiring heating for optimum energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

After our first VRF install in 2016 at 272 Main, we continued with this extremely efficient technology here in Parkview. Our system will also include A.O. Smith BTH-300 hot water tank units and a Central Tempeff HRV (>90% thermal efficiency).
