Southern Comfort Mechanical Inc. is a growing company, and we are currently seeking a Level 4 electrical apprentice or Red Seal journeyperson to join our team. Our head office is located at 671 Discovery Drive in Grande Pointe, MB, but majority of our jobsites are within Winnipeg and its surrounding areas.

The successful applicant will work on both residential and commercial SCMI projects, with a focus on HVAC controls, as well as perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Registered Level 4 electrical apprentice or Red Seal certified, with a good understanding of controls
- Independently plan low voltage wiring.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
- Have your own personal hand tools.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be a team player.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
- Able to work well under pressure.
Working Conditions:
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- 8-hour standard shift, overtime as required.
- Hazards associated with the trade.
- Working both indoors and outdoors.
- May be exposed to high levels of noise.
